| * About this performance | |
At Ponzio Capital, we believe that you should be able to evaluate your portfolio manager based not only on his or her strategy, but on the results that the strategy produces. That's why we post ours right on our home page — for better or for worse.
Though we know that the two quarters of performance displayed is too short of a timeframe to judge us, it's here. You can learn more about Joe Ponzio's performance by visiting F Wall Street.
You can also learn about our investment strategy and get answers to frequently asked questions.

Past performance is not indicative of future results. The performance displayed above is that of all client accounts that (i) pursue our our investment strategy, (ii) were under the management of Ponzio Capital at the start of each Calculation Period, (iii) have a net value of at least $5,000 at the beginning of the Calculation Period, and (iv) impose no restrictions on us regarding the management of the portfolio. We refer to these portfolios as the "Ponzio Capital Composite." Results are presented net of Ponzio Capital's management fee and all trading and custody expenses. Not every client's account had these exact returns, and the actual characteristics and returns with respect to any particular client account varies based on a number of factors including but not limited to: (i) the size of the account; (ii) investment restrictions applicable to the account, if any; and (iii) market conditions at the time of investment. Ponzio Capital reserves the right to modify its current investment strategy and techniques based on changing market dynamics or client needs. It should not be assumed that any of the investment decisions we make in the future will be profitable or will equal current investment performance.
The performance is measured against the S&P 500 Total Return Index (which includes dividends). The volatility (beta) of any client's portfolio and the Ponzio Capital Composite may be greater or less than its respective benchmark. The S&P 500 Total Return Index is the Standard & Poor's Composite Index of 500 stocks and is a widely recognized, unmanaged index of common stock prices. It is not possible to invest in an index such as the S&P 500 Total Return Index.
Returns are presented net of investment advisory fees, include the effect of all income paid as cash into the account, and reflect all transfers, deposits and withdrawals. The fee schedule for Ponzio Capital's separate account investment advisory services is 0.25% of assets under management each quarter, less any trading costs incurred in the previous quarter, subject to a minimum quarterly fee of $75.00. This fee includes all trading costs and the advisory fee. Actual investment advisory fees incurred by clients may vary. A complete description of Ponzio Capital's fee schedule can be found under Part II of its Form ADV, which is available upon request.
Calculation Period: The "Calculation Period" is the calendar quarter. Assuming the account meets the four criteria above, new client accounts are added to the Ponzio Capital Composite on the first day of January, April, July or October immediately following the date the account is first funded. Accounts included in the Ponzio Capital Composite that leave Ponzio Capital during a Calculation Period are included in the Ponzio Capital Composite until the end of the Calculation Period.
